Meat Fondue Dip Ideas are Flavorful and Easy
There are so many dip options when it comes to beef fondues. Everyone is sure to have some dip ideas, and there are various options to choose from. There are salsas, oriental dips, seafood dips, horseradish sauces and more. I have put together some of my favorites for you to try.
The first is a dill dip. This one reminds me of a German Cucumber Dill Dip that my brother and sister-in-law made when I lived with them for a summer. It is very refreshing and has a real summery taste. The next is a fun oriental dip–sesame and soy flavors combine to give your meat a asian flair. Then there is a nice seafood cocktail recipe, followed by a horseradish and then a honey Dijon dip.
Dill Dip
2 c. sour cream
2 stalks green onions with white tips and greens, chopped
2 T. fresh dill, chopped finely
1 T. lemon juice
salt and pepper
Mix all ingredients together, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Stays fresh for 5 days.
Sesame Soy Dip
3 T. Soy Sauce
3 T. Sesame Oil
5 tsp. vinegar or lemon juice
1 sm. garlic clove, minced
1 T. dried red chili pepper
onion salt and pepper
Mix all ingredients together. Season with onion salt and pepper, and you are ready to serve.
Seafood Sauce
1 c. mayonnaise
1 c. ketchup
1 sm. Garlic clove
Mix all ingredients together, ensuring ketchup is all incorporated. Chill and serve.
Horsey Dip
4 tsp. prepared horseradish
2 T. lemon juice
1 cup sour cream
Dash of cayenne pepper
salt and pepper
Mix together ingredients. Chill. Serve
Honey Dijon Mustard Dip
¾ c. honey
½ c. Dijon mustard
Combine the two ingredients. Chill and serve. Best when it has set in the fridge a couple of days.
